Masterline PM50 Quality Lawn Grass Seed

The high proportion of fescues in this mix ensure a fine appearance and good sward density. Perennial rye-grass helps to increase establishment speed. The resulting sward has an excellent colour and is hard wearing with good disease resistance and shade tolerance.

An excellent mixture, fine in appearance and hard wearing with excellent colour. The improved new cultivars ensure, a shade tolerant, low maintenance turf, with good disease resistance, keeping future maintenance costs to the minimum. The inclusion of our unique 4turf Tetraploid ryegrass Tetragame deliver fast establishment, improved colour, increased drought tolerance and incredible disease resistance. A very successful mixture for both private and local authority use, on housing and industrial developments where a high quality and durable turf is called for.

Sowing Guidance

  • Prepare the surface before sowing ensuring that:
    • Stones & weeds are removed.
    • There is sufficient drainage.
    • The surface is level and firm.
    • The surface is moist.
  • Sow the seeds evenly, using the correct sowing rate to a depth of approximately 10 mm.
  • Ensure that the surface remanins moist for at least 2 - 3 weeks.
  • Make the first cut when the grass is 5 - 6 cm tall and tillering has started.

Overseeding Guidance

  • Prepare the existing turf by removing excess thatch and limiting irrigation and fertilisation.
  • Apply using the correct overseeding rate.
  • For best results use a disc seeder or a studded seed roller.

We require deliveries to be signed for. If no one is available to sign for your delivery, you may request it is left in a safe place by leaving a signed note for the driver, requesting the item is left without a signature. Please note that this is left at your own risk and at the driver's discretion.

For large orders, please be aware that if you require a smaller 7.5 tonne lorry, the maximum weight for pallets is 750 kg - otherwise the standard pallet size limit of 1000 kg applies.
