Masterline PM120 Low Maintenance Mix Grass Seed

Rhizomatous slender creeping red fescue and browntop bent reproduce vegetatively in this mix enabling them to spread through the perennial rye-grass to develop a dark dense and attractive sward. The cultivar of perennial rye-grass used is particularly noted for its slow regrowth, resulting in significantly reduced mowing requirements.

The cultivar Claudine is the key to the mixture. Aniston has an excellent rating for slow regrowth, significantly reducing mowing costs. The new mixture is ideal for use in a variety of landscape situations, including, housing estates, road verges, parkland and play areas, establishing rapidly to provide a dense and attractive reduced maintenance surface.

Sowing Guidance

  • Prepare the surface before sowing ensuring that:
    • Stones & weeds are removed.
    • There is sufficient drainage.
    • The surface is level and firm.
    • The surface is moist.
  • Sow the seeds evenly, using the correct sowing rate to a depth of approximately 10 mm.
  • Ensure that the surface remains moist for at least 2 - 3 weeks.
  • Make the first cut when the grass is 5 - 6 cm tall and tillering has started.

Overseeding Guidance

  • Prepare the existing turf by removing excess thatch and limiting irrigation and fertilisation.
  • Apply using the correct overseeding rate.
  • For best results use a disc seeder or a studded seed roller.

We require deliveries to be signed for. If no one is available to sign for your delivery, you may request it is left in a safe place by leaving a signed note for the driver, requesting the item is left without a signature. Please note that this is left at your own risk and at the driver's discretion.

For large orders, please be aware that if you require a smaller 7.5 tonne lorry, the maximum weight for pallets is 750 kg - otherwise the standard pallet size limit of 1000 kg applies.

Please note for deliveries that require a pallet, the pallet/packaging itself is the customer's responsibility and will not be uplifted or taken upon delivery.
