Carden Turf Specifications
Carden Turf is a blended mixture of three grass species comprising 30% Lolium perenne (Perennial Rye-grass) 60% Festuca spp. (Fescue species) and 10% Poa pratensis (Smooth-stalked Meadow Grass) comprising high quality cultivars bred to withstand environmental stress and traffic wear across a range of practical applications. The blending of species allows the turf to establish in a range of soil and site situations and better withstand drought, traffic wear and shade. Providing a flexible high quality solutions for professional and amateur greenkeepers, grounds persons, landscapers and gardeners.
Carden Turf matches the Turf Growers Association (TGA) standard for cultivated turf and conforms to BS3969.

Full Terms & Conditions of Fresh Turf Delivery
The condition of all turf can deteriorate when rolled up, particularly during periods of warm weather. We advise that all turf should be laid immediately following and on the day of delivery. We advise resourcing sufficient labour to achieve this and that site preparation is complete to avoid any delay. If this is not going to be possible then all turf should be rolled out, grass side up, in a cool, dry area and watered if necessary prior to laying. Pitchcare will not be held liable for any deterioration in turf condition beyond the day of delivery.

Delivery and Returns
Delivery charge (if applicable) applied at checkout. Next working day delivery is available on some products, as an option on orders placed before 1pm - excludes festive season & bank holidays. Please note deliveries to Highlands, Cornwall and more remote areas may take longer. Surcharges apply for non mainland locations, call for more information - More delivery information.
We require deliveries to be signed for. If no one is available to sign for your delivery, you may request it is left in a safe place by leaving a signed note for the driver, requesting the item is left without a signature. Please note that this is left at your own risk and at the driver's discretion.
For large orders, please be aware that if you require a smaller 7.5 tonne lorry, the maximum weight for pallets is 750 kg - otherwise the standard pallet size limit of 1000 kg applies.
Please note for deliveries that require a pallet, the pallet/packaging itself is the customer's responsibility and will not be uplifted or taken upon delivery.
