Medallion TL utilises brand new innovative Contact+ activity developed for the sole purpose of providing the opportunity to maintain high levels of disease control.
Medallion TL is a very fast acting fungicide that works by directly targeting disease pathogens on the leaf, in the thatch and at the soil surface; this allows Medallion TL to deliver a quick answer to turf disease and is proven to give long lasting protection throughout the lower temperature months ranging Autumn to early Spring.
Also available in a 3 litre pack.
Diseases Controlled by Medallion TL
Medallion TL is a broad-spectrum turf disease fungicide, specifically approved for the control of:
- Fusarium Patch (Microdochium nivale)
- Leaf Spot (Drechslera spp.)
- Anthracnose (Colletotrichum graminicola)
Due to Medallion TL's ability to target pathogens, numerous additional benefits arise such as helping prevent against disease infection during and after renovation work - which is usually known to increase risk and trigger disease infection.
Fast Explosive Activity! - How Fludioxonil Works
The fludioxonil in Medallion TL works in such a way that when it makes contact with pathogenic spores it disrupts the regulation of osmosis (osmoregulation) and results in the disease pathogen cells rapidly absorbing water to such a point that their cell walls can no longer maintain rigidity and explode, therefore nullifying the threat of the pathogens.

Additional Information
Independent Trials: Effectiveness of Medallion TL
Although the best approach for optimum disease control is preventative applications, acting before symptoms appear is not always possible.
Independent trials by STRI have given undeniable evidence of exceptionally fast knockdown of Fusarium Patch with Medallion TL. When Medallion TL was applied at the point of 5% visible infection, the disease had immediately stopped spreading and within three days turf had already begun to recover!
Independent Trials: 'Protective Shield' of Medallion TL
Trials have shown that Medallion TL rapidly bonds onto the leaf's waxy layer - making Medallion TL rainfast within one hour!
Trials have shown Medallion TL forms a 'Protective Shield' on the surface of the leaf allowing Medallion TL to effectively work and protect turf and plants through harsh conditions such as rain and even under a thick blanket of snow that can be disastrous in allowing Fusarium Patch to develop.
