Sarel Spiking Roller
These rollers offer efficient aeration with minimal soil disturbance, relieve surface compaction, are ideal for various sports pitches and fine turf, and help smooth out pitch imperfections.
Three different widths of sarel tine aerator are available to choose from the drop down box above:
- 300mm (12") - Contains 1 cylinder of 63 tines, weight 30kg
- 600mm (24") - Contains 2 cylinder of 126 tines, weight 55kg
- 900mm (36") - Contains 3 cyclinders of 189 tines, weight 83kg

Year round Aeration
A vital tool in any turf managers armoury, sarel tine aeration is a quick, efficient and importantly, low surface disturbance means of aerating all turf areas, every week of the year.
The array of closely spaced tines provides a high volume of essential surface aeration which aids water and air penetration and consequently balanced gaseous exchange.
This process is absolutely crucial for stimulating soil biology which in turn results in consistent grass plant health and vitality.
Sarel tine aeration can also be undertaken when seeding and top dressing to assist seed protection and soil contact.
Technical Specifications
- The sarel spiking roller is engineered with a 275mm (11") diameter, specifically designed to avoid 'tearing' of the turf.
- Fitted with 63 Tensile Steel Spikes 6mm (0.25") in diameter, protruding 45mm (1.75") for optimum surface aeration.
- Coupled to each unit is a 115mm (4.5") diameter roller for transportation across hard surfaces and for surface rolling.
- Each tine is replaceable, held on with a nylock locknut.

Delivery and Returns
Delivery charge (if applicable) applied at checkout. Next working day delivery is available on some products, as an option on orders placed before 1pm - excludes festive season & bank holidays. Please note deliveries to Highlands, Cornwall and more remote areas may take longer. Surcharges apply for non mainland locations, call for more information - More delivery information.
We require deliveries to be signed for. If no one is available to sign for your delivery, you may request it is left in a safe place by leaving a signed note for the driver, requesting the item is left without a signature. Please note that this is left at your own risk and at the driver's discretion.
For large orders, please be aware that if you require a smaller 7.5 tonne lorry, the maximum weight for pallets is 750 kg - otherwise the standard pallet size limit of 1000 kg applies.
Please note:
- For deliveries that require a pallet, the pallet/packaging itself is the customer's responsibility and will not be uplifted or taken upon delivery.
- Deliveries are kerb side only.
- It is possible a pallet order can be delivered on a vehicle up to the size of a 26T lorry.
