Rosate 360 TF Glyphosate - MAPP no. 17682
Active Substance: 360g/L glyphosate
Rosate 360 TF is a foliar applied systemic penetrant total herbicide. Rosate Glyphosate Weed Killer contains 360g/l glyphosate which moves systemically within the plant to give highly effective control of unwanted vegetation during phases of active plant growth.
Rosate 360 TF is ideal for contract spraying or management of large areas. Due to it’s systemic action, glyphosate herbicides provide effective control of unwanted vegetation as the active substance moves into the roots, preventing treated plants from re-growing.
Rosate 360 TF is available in three pack sizes: | ||

Instructions for use
Where to use
Rosate Glyphosate Weed Killer can be used in a wide range of situations, including those listed below. For details of other uses, consult the label.
- Edible & non edible crops (destruction) - Any type of edible or non-edible crop prior to re-cropping.
- Forest - Groups of trees being grown in their final positions e.g. after planting out from a forest nursery.
- Grassland (destruction) - Land grown for grass production includes short and long-term grass leys and permanent pasture, which may be grazed and /or cut for subsequent animal consumption.
- Hard surfaces - Any man-made impermeable surface, such as concrete or asphalt and including railway ballast, that is not intended to bear vegetation.
- Land immediately adjacent to aquatic areas - The bank of any water course or body of water.
- Natural surfaces not intended to bear vegetation - Areas of soil or natural outcroppings of rock that are not intended to bear vegetation.
- Open waters - Any natural or artificial body of water that drains to a water course or is used as a reservoir for domestic water supplies.
- Permeable surfaces overlying soil - Any man-made permeable surface (excluding railway ballast), such as gravel, that overlies soil and is not intended to bear vegetation.
When to use
Apply once grasses and broad-leaved weeds have emerged and are actively growing (normally March to October). Perennial broad-leaved weeds are generally most susceptible when at or near flowering stage. Perennial grasses must have produced fresh leaves which are green and vigorous. A period without rain of at least six hours and preferably 24 hours must follow application.

How to use
- For conventional vehicle mounted or handheld spray equipment, apply at a rate of 1.5-10l/ha in 80-250l/ha water using a medium or coarse spray quality nozzle
- For conventional rotary atomisers use a spray volume of 10-40l/ha
- For stem injection use 2ml of neat solution for stems up to 10cm diameter
- For weed wipers use 1 part Rosate 360 TF to 1-2 parts water (dependent on weed wiper type and weather conditions)
Situation or type of weed | Application rate | |
---|---|---|
Annual weeds | 1.5l/ha | |
Perennial grasses | 4.0l/ha | |
Perennial broadleaved weeds | 5.0 - 6.0l/ha | |
Rhododendron | 10l/ha | |
Grassland destruction | 1-2 years old | 3l/ha |
2-4 years old | 4l/ha | |
Long leys (4-7 years old) | 5l/ha | |
Permanent grassland | 6l/ha |
**Use Rosate 360 TF with Companion Gold for improved uptake, particularly when rain is expected; faster speed of action; and to reduce required glyphosate rates.**

Active Substances
Glyphosate
Bio-Chemical Mode of Action: Glyphosate belongs to the Inhibition of Enolpyruvyl Shikimate Phosphate Synthase (ESPS) group of herbicides.
ESPS herbicides work by shutting down the shikimate pathway which is used in the production of the proteins it needs to grow and survive.
Mobility: Glyphosate is a systemic penetrant which means that the active substance can be translocated downwards through the plant within the phloem (sugar conducting tissues) and upwards through the plant within the xylem (water conducting tissues).
Application timing: ESPS herbicides are best applied when the weeds are actively growing. They are generally more effective when target plants are younger and in their vegetative phases.
Resistance: As of 2018, 38 weed species distributed across 37 countries and in 34 different crop and 6 non-crop situations had been identified.
