Richard Owens has joined Tillers Turf as their Specialist Turf Manager.

As Course Manager at Boston West GC for the last 20 years Richard has a wealth of experience in presenting perfect playing surfaces. This will be put to good use at Tillers Turf when growing and supplying turf to some of the leading golf courses in Europe, including Wentworth, Gleneagles, Turnberry and Muirfield.

A keen environmentalist, Richard won Conservation Greenkeeper of the Year Award in 2014, and was instrumental in helping his club win the "Overall Award" at the Lincolnshire Environmental Awards. His encyclopaedic knowledge of wildflowers will steer the development of new products in the company's expanding range of wildflower turf.
