Groundsman Industries launch new deep tine aerator
Groundsman Industries launch their new Deep Tine Aerator model 30D 6150 at the SALTEX exhibition in Windsor.
he cover came off the new model at lunch time on the second day of the three day event and we are delighted by the positive reaction from dealers and customers alike. It was two years ago when our first 'coming soon' bill board was displayed at SALTEX but I think all will agree, we have done our homework and the wait has been justified.
The machine has four major new patented innovations which Groundsman believe, will give their Deep Tine machine a distinct advantage over the competition. An Independent Crank Suspension which will absorb impacts helping protect the machine, tines and operator from undue stress.
A Quick Change Anti Release Tine Holder System where a single bolt can release multiple tines. Precise tine entry angle at all depths, better know as heave angle, gives better penetration and less tine wear.
An automatic depth control option to ensure that when set shallow, consistent depth will be maintained on rolling terrain and when a maximum depth the ground roller will automatically be adjusted to remain on the ground for better stability.
This welter weight (750kg) has a 1.5 metre swath and can penetrate to 12 inches (30cm) at a moderate to fast pace. A 2.25 metre swath machine will be available towards the end of 2009. Available accessories include a large range of quick change tines for solid, needle and hollow-coring plus the proven Flex-blade Core Collector Attachment to core and collect in one pass.
