CLS shows its strength by investing in a 1012 D Mastenbroek Heavy Duty Drainage Trencher
For over thirty years, Cleveland Land Services (CLS) has worked tirelessly to establish itself as a formidable force in the world of landscaping and sports facility contracting. Now in 2010 it is reaching for the next step as a serious contender for large scale construction and maintenance contracts with the addition of a Mastenbroek 1012D heavy-duty drainage trencher and a self propelled "Laser Grader" to its stable of machinery.
"Our aim is to provide as comprehensive a service as possible." Said Managing Director, John Miller "To ensure continuity during the construction and establishment of sports fields, we have invested in the most up-to-date drainage equipment with a further three AFT Trenchers purchased this year to complement our existing whizz wheels and chain trenchers, Shelton gravel banders, hoppers and carts enabling us to carry out both primary and secondary drainage works. We provide all the materials and plant required to do each task with experienced operators."
The Mastenbroek 10/12D drainage trencher is purpose built for installing primary drainage into golf course fairways and all types of sports turf and amenity areas. The trencher lays drainage pipe into a precision cut laser graded trench, and simultaneously installs the permeable backfill material to a controlled depth. All excavated material is removed via a conveyor to produce a clean cut trench with no contamination of the turf. Operating on low ground pressure sportsturf tracks the trencher causes the minimum of disruption enabling play to resume immediately.
The decision to invest in the Mastenbroek and the "Laser Grader" is a reflection of the confidence CLS now has in its abilities and its team. "It's an important step up" said Christopher Pett, General Manager of Mastenbroek UK. "CLS is an extremely professional organisation and we will ensure the team receives the full support of our sales and backup service."
The future for Cleveland Land Services lies in responding to market forces in a positive and productive way. After a period of evaluating the economic climate now there is no holding back; the Mastenbroek purchase is just the first of a whole raft of expansion plans for the coming year.
