Writtle College launches horticultural scholarship

Peter-Seabrook2.jpgA £6000 scholarship is being offered for one lucky student to study horticulture at the College.

The winning student will get £3000 a year to attend the two-year foundation degree in horticulture. Named after Peter Seabrook, the scholarship has been sponsored by Easy Gardener, a world leader in the weed control fabrics. Peter attended the College in the mid-1950's achieving both the College Diploma and the Royal Horticultural Society Master of Horticulture degree. Peter has appeared on BBC Gardener's World and has a regular column in The Sun newspaper.

The winning student will be taught at the College under the supervision of Martin Stimson, Head of the School of Horticulture, also a Royal Horticultural Society Master of Horticulture.
