To help raise the importance of regular synthetic surfaces maintenance programmes at SALTEX, Technical Surfaces was giving away a Ferrari experience to anyone who filled out their details onto the back of the card which was within the carrier bag handed to visitors to the show and then either handed into the staff on the IOG or Technical Surfaces stands.

Entries were also welcome after the show via the post.

William Martin, Sales Director of Kestrel (Contracts) Group Limited was the lucky winner picked at random by Mandy Pegg, Office Manager at Technical Surfaces and will receive the prize of driving a Porsche 911 and Ferrari 360 Spyder for the day at Brands Hatch race circuit in Kent.
William was understandably delighted with his prize, which was announced at the recent SAPCA Sports Facility Construction Exhibition and Seminar held at Sandown Park Racecourse on 28 November.

"I've actually wanted to do something like this for quite a number of years" commented William. "I have been making hints to my wife for my 50th Birthday which is in a few years, but now I'll have to think of something else!"

The SMG machines which Technical Surfaces use throughout their maintenance programmes are powered by Gianni Ferrari engines and so the 'Win a Ferrari for a day' competition was the ideal promotion for this event.

"The idea was to provide the opportunity to win a Ferrari experience as part of our promotional activity during SALTEX," said Technical Surfaces Managing Director Greg Hill. "It was a simple idea that worked very well for us and was a factor to the amount of visitors on our stand throughout the three days; congratulations to William for being the lucky winner."
