GreenMech have chosen Windsor to reveal the new Arborist and ArbTrak 190 wood chipper models. Sales Director, Martin Lucas, is upbeat about Windsor this year, "We're expecting these new additions to our ARB range to make a big impression. They take their place alongside some of the most popular machines from our chipper portfolio on stand A18."

Arborist 190
With all the features of its much admired Arborist 150 sister, the Arborist 190 has been designed to offer even greater productivity to make light work of heavily forked branches - featuring a 190mm chipping capacity. It has a generous 1200mm x 840mm infeed hopper, which aids bushy brash reduction and is coupled with a 190mm x 280mm letterbox-style infeed throat enabling heavily forked branches to be fed in easily. With a 45hp Kubota turbo diesel engine, the Arborist 190 is value-engineered for quality, strength, performance and economy.

The ArbTrak 190 is the latest addition to GreenMech's celebrated tracked range of wood chippers, built to effortlessly get to those hard to reach locations. Similarly to the Arborist 190, it features a 190mm chipping capacity, a 1200mm x 840mm infeed hopper and a powerful 45hp engine. The tracked chassis system provides high ground clearance of 274mm, allowing easy access to sites over rough terrain and the 3kph tracking speed means the operator can get the job done quickly.

Both models comes fitted as standard with GreenMech's patented Disc-Blade system giving up to 150 hours of chipping before the blades require re-sharpening. As with all machines, they also come with an electronically controlled no-stress feed system that reverses the feed rollers to relieve the chipper blades, allowing the rotor speed to recover quickly, yet again increasing output.

To show the complete versatility of the GreenMech range, visitors to the stand can see differing models in various sizes and styles, designed to suit very different applications.

Designed with the professional Landscaper, Arborist or Parks Manager in mind the CS 100 is compact and easy to move - but is a powerful workhorse that combines versatility with economy. At only 760mm wide it easily gets through restricted access or into tight spaces making it perfect for 'on-the-spot' chipping and the ideal chipper for big jobs in small spaces. The wide, open in-feed chute enables solid timber of up to 100mm, or large volumes of bushy material, to be processed with minimal shedding/reducing.

Then at the other end of the scale is the QuadChip 160, with a full 360ÌŠ turntable to provide convenient and safe loading at the kerb-side or in restricted spaces, and the SAFE-Trak range. GreenMech's SAFE-Trak extension system allows each track to be independently extended allowing 550mm ground clearance and slopes of up to 35ÌŠ to be easily traversed.
