poa
Tillers Turf have launched two new products to their ever expanding turf portfolio.

Firstly, and at the request of many Course Managers, they are now able to supply a pioneering Tillers Poa/Bent Greens Turf. A height of cut of 4mm at point of harvest, should ensure a smooth transition into play, making it ideal for greens repairs, extensions and rebuilds to ensure a match with greens of similar sward composition, retaining playing characteristics and appearance.

Poa/Bent Greens Turf has been used to great effect at Woburn Golf Club who have installed it to create a new putting green at the halfway house on the internationally acclaimed Marquess Course.

Secondly, from October 2016, they are able to supply quality "Tillers Heather Turf".

Heather
Heather is found predominantly on heathland and even in woodland with acidic or peat soils. The species comprises predominantly Calluna vulgaris (common heather), although it may also contain some Erica cinerea (bell heather) and Erica tetralix (cross leaf heather). Low numbers of other indigenous heathland species may also be present, such as Ulex minor (dwarf gorse)

Harvested from October through to March from a sustainable source and forming part of an overall heathland conservation and regeneration project, Tillers Heather Turf will be ideal for Heathland Restoration projects as well as Bunker Banks, Tee Banks and any other landscape project.

Each pallet of Heather Turf contains a total of 10.08 square metres cut into slabs measuring 0.6 x 0.3 metres each, making the product easy to handle and install.
