The Wage Debate

A couple of members have begun a discussion on wage rates in the industry. I know it`s something that has been raised before, but what is the way forward? Why are groundsmen, greenkeepers and groundstaff so poorly rewarded? Does the IOG help or hinder matters by publishing wage bands? Does our dedication to the cause work against us? Can we unite to make the people who matter realise our worth? Any views, any thoughts would be welcomed.
