Surf and turf on the menu for IOG Saltex visitors

IOG Saltex, Europe's leading event for open space management professionals, and Pitchcare.com - the leading website for groundsmen and greenkeepers - are combining forces at this year's show (Windsor Racecourse 7-9 September 2004) to provide visitors with unlimited and free access to the Internet and email services via an Internet Café.

Designed to accommodate eight users at a time, the specially-constructed Internet Café will be available throughout the show to enable visitors to not only surf the Net - to perhaps look more closely at exhibitors' websites - but also to send and receive emails.

In addition, users will be able to view Pitchcare.com - 'the website for groundsmen that's written by groundsmen', which receives an average 7,500 log-ins each month - and sign up for the monthly Pitchcare Newsletter. This is currently circulated to over 15,000 grounds professionals, and gains 400 new members every month.

The Internet Café will also be available for use by exhibitors at IOG Saltex 2004.

IOG SALTEX 2004 embraces fine turf and sports, turf maintenance equipment, children's play and safety surfacing, commercial vehicles, leisure and facilities management and software as well as security equipment, and is aimed at everyone involved in open space management - from groundsmen and greenkeepers through to architects, designers and surveyors as well as local authorities.
