Rollalong Hire Events helps Build instant stadium @ IOG SALTEX 2004

Events facilities specialist Rollalong Hire Events is playing an unusual role at this year's Sports Amenities and Landscaping show (IOG SALTEX 2004), providing a range of its washrooms and other facilities to the organisers as part of a working display area.

The Rollalong Hire Events equipment will form part of an 'Instant Stadium' that is being erected at SALTEX (7TH - 9TH Sept); not only demonstrating the capabilities of the industry offering clients rapid and cost effective solutions, but also offering a convenient venue for a number of product launches by exhibitors during the three days.

The Rollalong Hire Events ticket offices, hospitality suites, toilets and shower blocks will be positioned alongside the 50 metre stadium that also showcases arena seating, public broadcast systems, catering facilities, artificial surfaces and security equipment from a variety of other manufacturers.

Rennie Alleyne, the show manager for Penton Media Europe which organises IOG SALTEX, comments: "The purpose of this exhibit is to demonstrate that these items can be hired in for a sports event, festival or other function and erected in a couple of days. It provides for all the basic requirements: the emphasis being on the fact it requires no mains electricity or sewerage system. And all of the equipment complies fully with health and safety requirements.

"We are very pleased to have Rollalong Hire Events involved as a pioneering sponsor of the Instant Stadium feature at Europe's leading outdoor event. We are looking forward to the arena being used by a number of exhibitors during IOG SALTEX."

All of the products on display within the Instant Arena will be badged and Rollalong Hire Events' sales staff will be on hand to advise visitors to the show regarding the hire company's wider capabilities.

Rollalong Hire Events is of course already established as one of the major players in the field of outdoor entertainment, its record encompassing such prestigious events as the Chelsea Flower Show, the London Marathon, Glastonbury and the Farnborough Air Show.

In the case of the July air show, for instance, Rollalong Hire Events is supplying all of the static facilities including not just toilets and hospitality suites but also a police station and self contained medical centre. The company has also fabricated a glass roofed commentary box which will be used there on an annual basis.
