RBS RugbyForce can help improve your club
Does your rugby club need a lick of paint? Do your grounds need a tidy? RBS RugbyForce is here to help you and your club, read on to find out how...
RBS RugbyForce is a nationwide community volunteer programme which helps local rugby clubs to improve their facilities. Registered clubs are provided with on-line guidance and tools to help organise a community wide 'make-over'.
On 11 and 12 June 2011, as part of the RBS RugbyForce Weekend, your club could be receiving the support of the local community as you come together for a fun-filled few days of DIY, to make your club a better place for all. Last year communities and clubs teamed together to paint changing rooms, clear out store rooms and tackle overgrown grounds.
Over 400 clubs entered in 2010, and this year RBS is looking to reach even more clubs. One lucky club in England, Ireland, Scotland and Wales will receive a support pack worth £5,000, as well as a visit from a leading rugby player. Previous players to have visited winning clubs include Shane Williams and Chris Paterson.
For your club to be in with a chance of receiving the enhanced support package, you need to outline the role your club plays in the local community and how it would benefit from the club's RBS RugbyForce renovations. Registration is open until Friday March 25, 2011, so with less than 6 weeks to go, make sure you register your club today.
