PSD becomes BS EN ISO 9001:2000 registered

Professional Sportsturf Design (NW) Ltd and PSD Agronomy Ltd are pleased to announce that they have become BS EN ISO 9001:2000 registered companies. As a specialist sportsturf consultancy group they have become well known in Local Authority circles for helping to prepare NOF and Football Foundation. Recent projects have involved helping to manage large football pitch improvement schemes in a number of authorities including Liverpool, Preston and Burnley.PSD_iso.jpg

"After giving it a good deal of thought, John and I believed it was the best way forward for PSD" said Mike Harbridge, Managing Director. "We have long been committed to providing the highest quality of consulting services based on a personal approach. With the continued development of both companies we now have the administration systems in place to maintain our standards and deal with any issues which may arise".

John Hacker who, with Gary Owen, has overseen the implementation of the system says, "We deliberately allowed a good 12-15 months to bed the system in. For it to work fully it must be accepted and implemented by everyone. We have been determined to make the system work for us in a practical way rather than let it become a bureaucratic obligation, as is sometimes the case".

The company, which is one of the leading sportsturf consultancy groups in Europe, is one of the few to achieve recognition for its Quality Management Systems and the only one in the U.K.
