Playgolf choose MOX for Heaton Park




The choice of product at Heaton Park was straightforward. Ransomes Jacobsen products have been used at the course since Playgolf took over the management of the two golf courses from Manchester City Council in 1996. Head Greenkeeper Andy Street has kept an open mind and looked at other products but decided to stay with the brand he knows and the one which has given him such good service over the years.

MOX are specialists in contract hire and have supply agreements with all major manufacturers. They work closely with the appointed local dealer and also source all products from the dealer, in this case Burrows of Leyland. The sale is financed by MOX who also offer a comprehensive after sales service, tailor made to the customer's needs

Centre Manager John Mort commented. "Playgolf has always appreciated the benefits of contract hire in terms of competitive finance but we were looking for more on this purchase. Maintenance, operator and technical training, health and safety advice are all becoming more important and time consuming. MOX is the only company that can supply the product and offer the support services that we must have."
