Chester Groundstaff Award Presentation
Pitchcare, ALS and Bill Watt Fences were delighted to present Chester Racecourse with the Racecourse Groundstaff Award for best Flat Racecourse, 2013.

The award was presented on Wednesday 7th of May at Boodles May festival. Dan Hughes, Marketing & Business Manager at Pitchcare said; "Chester take immense pride in achieving the highest standards of course presentation and track performance. This can be clearly seen by jockeys, trainers and race goers. A deserved award for the Grounds team headed by Andrew Malam, and Clerk of the Course, Andrew Morris".

Chester Racecourse is the oldest racecourse in Britain and horseracing has been recorded as being held at the site since 1539. The race track is surrounded by a sandstone Roman quay wall and the site borders the River Dee.

Chester Racecourse have invested over £10million into the development of the course in recent years and polo tournaments and a wide range of entertainment and events are also held on the course's premises.
