New finance scheme from Hayter

Finance-release.jpg
Golfers are demanding ever improving standards from the courses they play. The skill of the greenkeeping staff in providing better surfaces is a major factor but without modern machinery their efforts will achieve very little. This machinery can be prohibitively expensive for all but the wealthiest clubs. Recognising this, Hayter have introduced a new finance scheme, aimed specifically at golf clubs, to help with the acquisition of the all important grass cutting equipment.

Working with MOX UK, the industry market leader in financing equipment for golf courses, Hayter can now provide a number of finance options to suit the needs of individual golf courses. In some cases a straight forward lease purchase is required but increasingly an operating lease is the best option. This is an extremely cost effective way of golf courses having modern high performance machinery without the problems associated with ownership. An operating lease can also include maintenance and this is where the association with MOX really pays dividends. With years of experience in the maintenance of golf course equipment, MOX are able to offer the very best service at a very competitive price. Whatever the requirements of the golf club are, advice is available from Hayter as to which is the best scheme.

Commenting on the launch of the scheme David Sturges, Sales and Marketing Director for Hayter said. "We have looked long and hard at the best way to help our golf course customers with the purchase of machinery. There are plenty of good finance companies in the market but we wanted to offer our customers something different and with some "added value." MOX are one of the leading finance companies, not just in the UK but in Continental Europe and they were the obvious people to work with."

Hayter launch new version of FM524 at BTME

FM524-for-release.jpg
Shown for the first time at BTME was the latest version of the FM524. The Hayter FM524 fairway mower, known as a "no nonsense" machine capable of coping with the most difficult of fairway, has undergone a number of developments since its introduction in the mid 1990s.

The main change is the new styling which was first shown on other Hayter ride on products at Saltex last year. Another change is larger front tyres which reduce ground pressure and the risk of marking in difficult conditions. Other features which have made the FM524 so popular have remained. Features like hinged or removable panels allowing easy access to all components for easy cleaning, maintenance and service. The operating position providing excellent visibility and comfort, so important for prolonged fairway cutting, has also remained exactly the same.

As well as the FM524 being a firm favourite in the UK, it is also popular in a number of overseas markets. Nearly 100 have been sold in Ireland and one of the FM524's greatest fans is David Green from Abbeyleix Golf Club in County Laois. Asked for his views on the machine David said. "The FM524 copes easily with our fast growing fairways and at the same time leaves a high standard of finish. It is comfortable to operate and easy to maintain. I have looked at all the fairway mowers on the market and the FM524 is the only one that does exactly what we want it to do in our vigorous growing conditions."
