New AG Spec Compact Tractors from Massey Ferguson at Saltex
SALTEX - Stand Number W15
Massey Ferguson will be highlighting at IoG SALTEX four new agricultural specification compact tractor models which have been added this year to the MF 1500 Series range.
Aimed primarily at landscapers, nurserymen and growers, estate owners, contractors and smallholders, Massey Ferguson's 'A' spec tractors are known as the MF 1529A, MF 1532A, MF 1540A and MF1547A, rated at 28, 32, 38 and 46 DIN hp respectively.
The MF 1529A and MF 1532A both have nine forward, three reverse speed mechanical transmissions while the MF 1540A and MF 1547A feature a 12 forward, 12 reverse Synchro Shuttle gearbox allowing synchronised changes between the four gears in each of three sub ranges as well as single lever changes from forward to reverse, and vice versa.
All four tractors come as standard with a forward-folding mid rollbar, category 1 three-point linkage with draft and position control, selectable four-wheel drive, rear differential lock and oil-immersed brakes. Also included is a clevis drawbar, 540/1,000 rpm rear power take-off and an external spool valve with the option to add a further external valve, if required.
Equipped with agricultural cleated tyres, full road lighting and power steering, the new MF 1500 Series agricultural specification tractors are available for demonstration now through Massey Ferguson's appointed national dealer network.
Other key products being featured on Massey Ferguson's SALTEX exhibit include a 46hp MF 1547 with DynaQPS transmission and air-conditioned cab plus a 22.5hp MF GC2300 sub-compact tractor with mid mower deck and rear collector. Also on display will be an MF 4 x 4 utility vehicle with 20hp diesel engine and two-range CVT (continuously variable transmission).
