Lancs and ECB disagree over washout
Lancashire and the ECB are at loggerheads over Tuesday's abandoned Twenty20 international at Old Trafford.
The ECB today backed the umpires and players for the controversial decision to call off the clash between England and Australia without a ball being bowled.
But Red Rose chief executive Jim Cumbes is still adamant the game should have gone ahead, and believes the fact Lancashire started their Championship match with Sussex on the same wicket yesterday is proof the umpires' made a mistake.
