Our very own Editor, Kerry Haywood, along with a team of friends, has grasped the opportunity to do something to raise money and awareness for breast cancer.

The MoonWalk is a total of 26.2 miles and covers the same route as the London Marathon. As its name suggests, the walk takes place throughout the night, with approximately 15,000 men and women taking to the street for the midnight start; and here's the best bit … the trademark of the challenge is to wear just a bra.

The theme this year is 'Carnival' and participants are encouraged to decorate their bras in bright colours with flamboyant decoration such as feathers, beads etc.

The Walk the Walk challenge came into being nineteen years ago, when just thirteen women Power Walked the New York City Marathon in their bras. What started out as a one-off fundraising event, has blossomed into a thriving multi-million pound charity, raising, to date, in excess of £99 million for vital breast cancer causes.

Kerry and co. have started their training, which has not been easy in the cold and frosty mornings and/or late evenings, but they can be seen here donning hats and smiles.

If you would like to sponsor the ladies, please visit http://wtwalk.org/moonwalklondon2016/kerrys-moonwalk and wish them luck.
