July 2017 Sports Pitch Maintenance Diaries

Wimbledon and rain - there's a familiar statement! After the heatwave in July, it looks as if the beginning of July is going to have its fair share of showers, sadly for our tennis followers.

However, as ever, the hardworking groundstaff will cope with whatever Mother nature throws at them and I'm sure we will have another magnificent sporting spectacle.

Patient and hard working are two of the qualities that most of our greenkeepers and groundstaff have in abundance - they have to be.

Our diaries are here to offer some guidance on the work required during the coming month. They are not set in stone, and local conditions will determine the work schedule.
