ISS and Fairways GM commit to new contract
Investing in new specialist machinery is just one of the ways in which ISS Facility Services Landscaping continues to commit to maintaining customers' sites to the highest standards and supporting their staff teams up and down the country.
A recent deal has seen them purchase approximately £250,000 of the latest equipment from Fairways GM, Scotland's exclusive Ransomes Jacobsen dealer.
The new machinery is destined for ISS's ever expanding portfolio of works in their North Region.
ISS Regional Director (North), Ian Campbell said: "We have worked alongside Fairways GM for many years and have found their service to be first class and are delighted to take this latest batch of machinery to ensure we continue to deliver to our customers a reliable, efficient and sustainable service.
In the current climate, it is even more important that our customers find value not just in contracts being competitively priced but also our sustained investment in our staff via training and development and capital expenditure by way of cutting edge kit."
Included in the package are eight Ransomes Parkway 3s, 11 Bob Cat 48" walk behind mowers and one 48" Bob Cat flail mower as well as six Bob Cat 32" walk behind mowers.
Making up the set also are two Convertibles and a Camon Rotovator. The mowers purchased are specifically designed for municipal and commercial contract applications. The Parkway 3 in particular can tackle the toughest jobs.
With its 33.5hp Kubota diesel engine together with heavy duty Magna cylinders it has the power and performance to cut large grassed areas with ease. The Bob Cat walk behinds are designed to offer maximum productivity with minimal operator fatigue.
Fairways GM's Sales Manager, Wilson Morrison said: "We've established a good working partnership with ISS for around six years and we're happy we can continue to supply the types of machine and demonstrate the high level of service and back up that ISS require to meet their contracts. We now have five established depots across Scotland which include excellent workshop and parts facilities."
