CAMPEYS' INNOVATION IN RENOVATION

By Fiona Gebbett

Most turf care professionals face the challenge of having to create the best possible playing surface on a limited budget. On Tuesday 13 May, they can get all the help they need to achieve this, courtesy of equipment distributors Campey Turf Care Systems who will host a special Seminar and Demonstration Programme called "Renovation in Action" at Macclesfield Town Football Club.RichardCampey.jpg

Campey's sister contracting organisation undertakes regular renovation work for the Cheshire club, whose pitch is regarded as having the best playing surface in Division Three. Delegates will be able to see the specialist equipment the company uses, including the Koro Field Topmaker, Koro Recycling Dresser, Koro Top Drain, and Koro Culti-Roll, as well as Dakota Spreaders, Väderstad Seeders and New Holland Tractors, under genuine working conditions.

The event will include an educational element, with papers from top turf experts. Steve Patrick, Grounds Manager at Blackburn Rovers FC, will discuss the ongoing need for natural turf surfaces and how standards can be improved, while independent consultant David Rhodes will present the pros and cons of natural and synthetic surfaces.

Demand for places at the event, which includes refreshments and lunch, will be high. So to book your place please ring Campey Turf Care on 01260 224568, or email info@richardcampey.com by 1st May.
