Harrington staying calm in New York storm
Padraig Harrington paved the way for his second Claret Jug with a splendidly defiant performance in the storm which battered the first round of last year's British Open.
Yesterday, even his prospects of making the cut at the US Open looked as gloomy as the leaden sky which dumped more than an inch of rain on The Black Course, bringing the day's play to an abrupt halt at 10.16am.
