Who are you? Oli Makin, Head Groundsman, Spotland Stadium, age 22.

Family status? Single, no children.

Who's your hero and why? Sergio Aguero for scoring that last second goal to clinch the title for my beloved Manchester City FC.

What would you change about yourself? Learn not to go out with the assistant Drew Duffy before we have an early morning start!!!

What do you drop everything for? Any opportunity to play cricket.

What's been the highlight of your career so far? Playing my first game for Hampshire County Cricket club against Surrey CCC at Wimbledon CC and getting 8 for 65. I then got offered a three month trial - the only reason they couldn't keep me on was because of financial reasons.

Glass half full or half empty? Always half full.

Climate change - fact or fiction? Fact - This is England!!!

What's your favourite season? Summer, when I can get my shorts on.

If you could go anywhere right now, where would it be? Back to Sydney, Australia.

What's the best part of your job? Working in the sun during the summer topping up my tan!!

… and the worst? Frost covers!!

Do you have a lifetime ambition? To play cricket for England.

Who wouldn't you like to be? The Prime Minister as he has to make tough decisions!

Favourite record, and why? Oasis - Wonderwall.

What's your guilty pleasure? Singing Wonderwall at any given opportunity on karaoke.

Who would you choose to spend a romantic evening with? Caroline Wozniacki

If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do? Put on a free bar at Norden Cricket Club where I play for all my mates.

If you were to describe yourself as a musical instrument, what would you be and why? A didgeridoo as I love Australia and it's a funky instrument.

What's the best advice you have ever been given? Always wear a condom!!

What do you do in your spare time? Play cricket, socialise with mates, watch Man City.

What's the daftest work related question you have ever been asked? Why can't you put boiling water through the irrigation system to act as underground heating?

What talent would you like to have? Would love to be able to play an acoustic guitar.
