Who are you? Darren Ball, Head Groundsman at Bath RFC.

Family status? Married to Claire, and we have one son, Charlie, who is seven months old.

Who is your hero and why? Richie McCaw, All Blacks captain, he is the best ever player!

What would you change about yourself? My figure, I wish I had the figure I had when I was 21.

What are your guilty pleasures? Amstel lager, fish and chips by the seaside and sweets

What do you drop everything for? My wife and son.

What's been the highlight of your career so far? Winning an IOG award and collecting it in Cardiff.

Climate change, fact or fiction? Fiction.

Whats your favourite season? Summer.

What are your pet peeves? People not putting things away after they have used them.

If you could go anywhere right now, where would it be? New Zealand.

Whats the best part of your job and the worst? Best - getting the pitch ready for a match. Worst - repairing the pitch after a match!

Do you have a lifetime ambition? To work as a Groundsman in New Zealand.

Who wouldn't you like to be? The Prime Minister, too much rersponsibilty!

Favourite record and why? Amazed by Lonestar. It was our first dance at our wedding.

Who would you chose to spend a romantic evening with? My wife, Claire.

If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do? Buy a larger house and a larger car.

If you were to describe yourself as a musical instrument, what would it be and why? A drum, as I'm loud

What's the best advice you have been given? To stand up for yourself and not to let people walk all over you.

What's your favourite smell? Freshly cut grass.

What do you do in your spare time? Spend time with my family and play rugby for Combe Down RFC, a local Bath side.

What's the daftest work related question you have been asked and why? I'm often asked what do I do when the rugby season has finished!

What's your favourite piece of kit? My John Deere 2653B triple mower.

What three words would you use to describe yourself? Hardworking, honest and reliable.

What talent would you like to have? To be able to fly.

What law legisaltion would you like to see introduced? To abolish paying income tax, so that everyone has more of their hard earned pay!
