European Links for Amenity Forum

The conference theme is the use of pesticides and the impact of recent policy and other changes. The conference will include an EU-USA Round Table discussion on "Legislation towards the limitation of agrochemicals: EU and USA experiences and best practices".
John's own presentation will focus on the UK's voluntary initiative approach to improve best practice and drive up standards. The conference takes place over two days from 3oth September.
Ruth Mann is also to represent the Amenity Forum, as well as her own organisation STRI, at an event being organised by the Dutch Turfgrass Research Foundation.
The Amenity Forum has established ongoing links with this body.
Another very important date in the UK amenity sector calendar is October 17th when the Amenity Forum is holding a major conference at Leicester City Football Ground. This has a wide range of high profile speakers as well as exhibition stands.
It is a must attend event. For further information, visit www.afconference.co.uk It has been described as a 'must attend' event for all involved in the amenity sector.
Also at an industry show this year at 12 noon on September 3rd, John Moverley is chairing a debate and discussion under the title '''Integrated Control of pests, weeds and diseases - what does this mean in practice?''.
As can be seen the Amenity Forum remains very busy and active driving forward the agenda of best practice and standards in the sector.
