EGO launches first multipurpose vacuum cleaner
Battery-powered outdoor power equipment specialist, EGO Power+, has expanded the potential of its market-leading battery technology with the launch of its first vacuum cleaner.
Compatible with any EGO portable battery, the new vacuum makes it easy for people with other products from the EGO range to tackle maintenance jobs beyond the garden. The WDV0900E Wet/Dry Vacuum has a 34L collection tank, making it perfect for those searching for a large capacity and powerful vacuum without the hassle of a cord.
Designed for easy usage, the vacuum features a 2.1-metre hose that allows users to gain more reach when using the device. it also features a removable bag that improves system filtration when used on dry applications, while an easy-to-change, washable filter makes it quick and easy to change between wet and dry applications.
Boasting 250-mbar of suction power with three power modes, the vacuum can lift water from around 2 meters, equivalent to mains power machines on the market. With the hose fitted to the outlet port, the device becomes a powerful blower, making it possible to tackle a wide range of cleaning jobs.

For enhanced usability, the vacuum filter features an integrated filter cleaning function which optimises performance. At the push of a button, dust will be shaken out of the filter to provide extra run time and suction without the frustration of removing and washing the filter.
With onboard storage to accommodate all accessories, the WDV0900 is supplied with two extension tubes, a crevice nozzle with integrated light strip, a round brush nozzle, a small floor nozzle for tighter spaces, a wider floor nozzle, and a 2.1m hose. An interchangeable squeegee or brush attachment on the floor nozzle, and a horse brush nozzle for use on soft furnishings such as leather seats further enhances the versatility of the product.
Controlled onboard or via a wireless remote control, users can enjoy a runtime of up to 60 minutes in ECO mode with a 5.0Ah battery. EGO’s 56V ARC LithiumTM batteries are interchangeable across the entire product range and provide petrol-matching power without noise, fuss, or fumes.
