Denham Golf Club choose Hayter

By Richard Bishop

Denham Golf Club in Buckinghamshire, one of the most prestigious clubs in the South East, has recently taken delivery of a Hayter MT313 small triple. Denham's machine is one of the first production machines built by Hayter following the launch at BTME in January this year. The new acquisition will be used to maintain the large tees and surrounds at the club. Denham are already devotees of Hayter products with the fairways being cut by an FM524 fairway mower and the rough being maintained by an R314 three deck rotary.

The MT313 generated a considerable amount of interest when first shown. New to the small triple market, Hayter are confident that they will win a substantial share of this highly competitive market. Hayter products, designed for the European Market, are known for their durability, ease of servicing and low running costs. The MT313 has been designed very much with these aspects in mind but also has a number of other unique features including a swing out centre unit for easy adjustment and maintenance. The MT313 will be of equal interest to users other than those maintaining fine turf. With a choice of cutting heads, the machine is ideally suited to a wide variety of different applications on amenity and municipal turf.HayterMT313.jpg

Guy Jenkins, course manager at Denham Golf Club, commented. "Denham has more turf to maintain than most 18 hole courses and our policy of cross cutting means machinery has to work hard and be totally reliable. We have been impressed with the Hayter machinery we have and the after sales service we have received, both direct from Hayter and our local dealer, Browns of Chesham. When looking for a tees and surrounds mower, the MT313 was the obvious choice for us.
