CrocodileBuyersGuide2010.jpgAvisford Park Golf Club near Arundel, West Sussex lies within the grounds of the Hilton Avisford Park Hotel. It was acquired in 2006 by SportsTurf Management Ltd which is owned by Richard Stillwell.

His son George is Assistant Head Greenkeeper. Two separate nine hole courses aged ten and twenty years respectively have been blended into one 18 hole course by M.D. and owner Richard Stillwell - Chief Agronomist for the PGA Tour. Two very different soil profiles on each original course have required a dedicated and professional approach to create a level of consistency throughout.

Following successful trials of Crocodile Golf Products cutting equipment, Richard Stillwell commented on the improvements in the quality of the finish, the durability and the easy fitment of the Crocodile product.

Richard said "We noticed an improvement in all the areas we have tried the Crocodile product. One clear benefit was on an area of rye grass which is notoriously difficult to achieve a good finish on, but the Crocodile product has given us superb results".

Quality & Durability

Assistant Head Greenkeeper George Stillwell commented "The blades were easy to fit and set up and stay on cut for longer. The quality and durability is clear to see. The savings in time and money the Crocodile product offers is outstanding. We will certainly be using Crocodile products on all of our fleet". The addition of the Hilton Avisford Park is one of the latest high profile courses to be impressed by the quality of the Crocodile products.

Ian Marshall MD of Crocodile Golf expressed his delight at the reaction from Richard and George to the products and added "We are so pleased with the feedback we are receiving from all the Clubs that have purchased our Bottom Blades and Cylinders. The brand is growing at a pace and continues to gain market share.

The location for this order is made even more appropriate by the display of sculptures and artistic representations by local designer Bob Fuller. As you drive along the entrance to the course your attention is immediately focussed on the metal based sculpture of a fearsome Crocodile! The tale is likely to continue with further business in the future for the Crocodile Golf range across the U.K.
