Continental Landscapes Ltd, the landscaping construction and maintenance company based near Bisector in Oxfordshire, has won several new maintenance contracts and expanded others with support from a partnership forged with turf equipment manufacturer, Ransomes Jacobsen.
Following the renewal of the Kingston-upon-Thames contract, Continental now manage the complete portfolio where previously they only had part of it. There is a similar situation in Worthing, where the contract includes the maintenance of the prestigious seafront bowling greens, home to the English Bowling Association's National Championships.
New contracts have been won in The Wirral; also with Fenland District Council, Dane Housing Association in Congleton and Chester Housing. Additional machines have also been purchased to support the Cherwell contract in East Staffordshire and Greenhand at Port Sunlight.
Tom Dew, Plant and Machinery Manager at Continental Landscapes says, "We work very closely with Ransomes Jacobsen and have a superb relationship with them and PA Turney Ltd, their dealer located close to our head office. As a preferred customer we benefit from excellent service and technical back up together with loan machines should the need arise. In return we have helped with product development, often trialling prototypes and providing feedback that can be incorporated into the final production models.
"These new and enhanced renewal contracts have resulted in significant orders for new equipment which has been delivered against a tight schedule, and I'm pleased to say that everything has gone very smoothly."
