The Auto-Roller Junior makes its debut at the show. It has most of the features of the original Auto-Roller, but is only 3ft wide. The new Auto-Roller Junior features 24" Rolls, hydrostatic transmission and power steering for easy operation plus electric starting with recoil back up. Power is supplied by a 7.5hp Robin Subaru air-cooled diesel engine with fuel-injection and pressurised oil lubrication system.
The Auto-Roller Junior will appeal to those who have smaller clubs or budgets, but do not wish to compromise on a first class quality roller for their wicket.
Autoguide's renowned Auto-Roller re-power pack can also be seen. The pack injects new life into older rollers with the benefit of power steering, hydrostatic transmission and fuel-efficient Robin engines c/w electric start.
Also exhibited is the new GAT mower. This sturdy, two-wheel grass cutter is powered by a low revving 6hp 4-stroke Briggs & Stratton engine with hydrostatic transmission and features dual cutting action. Even matted and dense growth is swiftly cleared by the 52cm cutting head consisting of three swinging nylon blades with metal inserts for performance and long life, PLUS three lines of nylon cords for 'contact' trimming against walls, fences, gravestones, trees etc.
Autoguide design and manufacture many mowing decks for OEM 's. Two models in this range are shown at Saltex this year. The front-mounted 1.5m Roller Mower deck provides a near cylinder mower finish whilst returning much needed moisture to the turf via its efficient mulching action and patented blade technology. The roller mower also features flip-up deck for easy maintenance and can be converted to rear discharge for tackling longer grass.
The 1.5m Verti-2-Flail ® deck is designed to fit front mounted commercial mowers and easily deals with growth up to 2m tall and 25mm in diameter. The unique four-blade flail head can be changed in minutes to give a clean excellent quality mulching finish.
