Amazone release New Profihopper at SALTEX

Amazone have released a new version of their self propelled, zero turn, "All Season" Profi Hopper. "It is 5 machines in 1" says Joe Weston, Amazone Groundcare Sales Manager. "It will not only cut grass but collect, mulch, scarify and roll, giving a high quality striped finish as well". "We call it 'All Season' because it is a machine you can use from January to December".

Amazone say it is able to work in wet adverse conditions due to the unique design of the auger collection system that physically carries the cut material from the cutting deck to the collection hopper without relying on an air blower system.

The new Profihopper has modern styling, incorporating a heavy-duty constructed cutting deck with safety features built-in for fleet users e.g. automatic deck cut-off protection and side impact protection bars. Amazone have also made several enhancements to the machine including increasing the hopper capacity by 22% i.e. 730 ltr which equals 1,100 ltr capacity in conventional machines due to the cut material being compressed by the auger. The reach of the high-lift hopper when tipping into trailers has been extended in both height and reach. All of which increase flexibility and productivity.

Feedback from users have been incorporated into the new model. These include a user-friendly dashboard that shows all of the machines functions when they are in use, in-addition to the normal road use requirements. For increased driver comfort levers and controls have been positioned ergonomically to the right hand side.
