New to the professional range of Allen Power Equipment is the V-Star a linear aerator manufactured by Smithco in the USA. Working a 16" (40cm) width and powered by a 13hp Honda electric start engine, the V-Star has hydrostatic forward and reverse variable

Depth of operation is variable between 0"-1.5" (0cm-3.8cm), and a choice of three blade widths is offered 3/64" (1mm), 5/64" (2mm) and 1/8" (2mm), all with Tungsten Carbide tips for longer wear. Wide wheels give improved stability.

Allen Power equipment are rapidly building a portfolio of top quality turf maintenance machines, and see the new V-Star as a major addition to their stable of products especially as the trend towards linear aeration seems to continue with Greenkeepers and Groundsmen demanding machines that leave a surface ready for immediate play after treatment.

The V-Star retails at £4995 plus Vat., and was on show for the first time at Saltex.
