A Win for Mark Root
Mark Root was the lucky winner of the AEA Golf Survey prize draw. Mark is Course Manager at the Mill Green Golf Club, Welwyn Garden City. Mill Green is a course designed by Peter Alliss and Clive Clark which combines rolling meadows and ancient woodland to create a challenging golf course of outstanding beauty.
Chris Evans said " The Outdoor Power Equipment Council of the AEA* runs a survey every 3 years to give an indication of the number of different machines that there are on golf clubs in the UK and Eire and to obtain a broad impression of the age distribution of these machines. This helps provide an independent information source that complements the individual research that companies undertake to assist the development of new product and to assess the resources needed for service and support.
We are very grateful to the courses that take the trouble to complete our enquiry - we offer a prize draw as a token of our appreciation and Mark Root was the lucky man this time."
