The Women in Golf Awards celebrate the immense contribution of women in managing turf and enhancing the sport.

This year Syngenta is sponsoring eight places at the awards ceremony for greenkeepers representing the increasing number of women working in the industry.

The Awards bring together women at all stages of their careers, from every sector, showing the diverse nature of the roles women hold in the industry.

This year’s ceremony will take place on the evening of Thursday 28th November, at Foxhills golf club and country resort, near Woking in Surrey.

Applications for tickets to the 2024 event are now open.

The Awards include the BIGGA sponsored category for Women in Turf care, won last year by Amanda Dorans at Loch Lomond Golf Club. While Daisy Starling, greenkeeper at Lydd Golf Club, won the Awards’ Rising Star category (below).

Women in Golf Awards was established by Nicole Wheatley and Ben Blackburn, whose combined experience in the golf world led them to identify a need to create a platform that would connect, celebrate and inspire women across the golf industry.
